Critical Incident

Oh no! My presentation event is going to be moved to the end of the week.
I would normally have worried about this but the room is going to be available and my resources are ready to go.

I think this is definately worth mentioning in my next patch.

Overall I feel like I am slowly catching up. I do however need to kick on and manage my time a little better. It isnt easy with antenatal classes and decorating but I need to concentrate on what I can do in each spare moment. In some slightly crazy way, I am enjoying the madness.

Work to be done yet!

Hello,

It's been a hectic half term here. Studying data and preparing for the next step. I do feel a little bit behind at the moment. I am using my calendar to manage my time but unfortunately its impossible to plan for every eventuality.

Still I hope to have a much more structured week with regards to study.

Almost there

Having looked at the data from cycle one and carried out cycle 2 accordingly I'm onto cycle three now. My inquiry has thrown up some interesting ideas and viewpoints. Whilst improving my own ICT skills it has caused other people to stop and question what they are doing.

We have had a change over of staff, through retirements so the new staff appear to want to embrace my idea as a new start in the communication aspect of school life.

It wont be an easy ride, so to speak, but staff are now listening more intently to the idea and have even viewed a calendar already implemented at another school. (permission was obtained and only the bones of the calendar were shown) The staff appreciated seeing this example and for my dissemination event a member of staff from another school is going to offer feedback on the pros and the cons of my idea.

Thanks for listening

Phil

Cycle 1

It's been interesting looking at the data I've collected over the course of cycle 1.
I get the feeling that people want to improve but aren't sure of the best way to do it.
Hopefully I think I'll be able to analyse the data I have and have a clear focus for the second cycle.
I also need to concentrate on my GLO's although I have been slow to really get into them. I've made some notes on each and looked briefly at where I can get the evidence.

Using new technology hasn't been easy but I've set up a new website that I hope will showcase these GLO's.

Speak later

Straight in at the deep end

It's been a very hectic week already. I'm happy with how my action inquiry is progressing and will hopefully get some good feedback from my interviews. we have already had a meeting with all staff, teaching and support to discuss ways to improve communication so I am glad that my inquiry is hot topic around school.

Still need to catch up a little with respects to tidying up semester 1 WBMP work.

Back to the grind stone

Happy new year

Well a happy new year to everybody. It's going to be a busy but very exciting year for myself. I hope the modules already completed have met the standards required so that I can proceed with the major tasks ahead.

Along with the major project, I am very excited about the new future addition to my family. April will be VERY busy I'm sure.

We've still got a week or so until we are back into studies but I'm raring to go and ready for the challenges ahead.

take care everybody and we'll catch up soon

Phil
